Running errands…
A short break in Huesca, where we took the opportunity to get Marvin’s AdBlue hose repaired, and also to get a new SIM card to get internet again. We also decided to stay here while waiting for Storm Laurence to pass, so as not to be in the middle of the desert at that moment. In short, a logistical stop… before heading off again!
On the edge…
We’re officially in the northern half of Ireland… Well, more or less… Let’s just say we’ve crossed the Shannon and that marks an important step in our journey north. It’s also the beginning of the cliffs (the real ones, the highest ones), and of the Galway region…
Free!
Our crossing of England was shorter than expected. It must be said that the country did nothing to keep us there any longer, and the discovery of a ferry line to France closer than the port of Dover was undoubtedly a sign… So here we are in France for the final part of this adventure, on the Normandy coast…
Walk on the water…
From the Connemara mountains, dotted with hundreds of black-water lakes, to the cliffs of Achill Island, passing through Ireland’s largest fjord, this 6th part brings us closer to the north of Ireland and takes us from Galway to County Mayo, just before the wild northwest…
This is just goodbye…
The adventure ends after 7 months and 19 countries visited. Back to the starting point, in Andorra, where it all began, on 13 March this year. A few small administrative details to sort out, and we will be ready for the next adventure. After this extraordinary experience, we are not going to stop there!…
The Northern Counties…
From Mayo to Donegal, via Sligo and Leitrim, here we are in the northern counties of Ireland, between spectacular cliffs and immense white sand beaches. What’s more, the good weather continues, something never seen before in Irish memory! 😁
