It had to happen one day (as we all know, all good things must come to an end…), and even though we added a few stops to really enjoy the Périgord, we had fewer and fewer kilometres left to reach Andorra… So there we are, done! The circle is complete…
We left the ocean to head inland, hoping to find some peace and quiet, far from the hordes of tourists invading the coastline… So here we are in the Périgord, discovering the different facets of this pretty, rather peaceful region, from the banks of the Charente to the east of the Brive Basin…
This week, we left Brittany to reach Vendée, not without first playing Moses and parting the waters to reach the island of Noirmoutier, which, for a few hours a day, naturally transforms into a peninsula..

Our crossing of England was shorter than expected. It must be said that the country did nothing to keep us there any longer, and the discovery of a ferry line to France closer than the port of Dover was undoubtedly a sign… So here we are in France for the final part of this adventure, on the Normandy coast…
We left the coast and the ocean to explore a little of inland Britain. We also left Scotland this week to head to England, with a beautiful finale in Edinburgh, the Scottish capital, which offered us two beautiful sunny days to wander through its medieval-style streets…
