  • Running errands…

A short break in Huesca, where we took the opportunity to get Marvin’s AdBlue hose repaired, and also to get a new SIM card to get internet again. We also decided to stay here while waiting for Storm Laurence to pass, so as not to be in the middle of the desert at that moment. In short, a logistical stop… before heading off again!

  • From the snow to a semi-desert……

So here we are, off on a new adventure, this time on the Atlantic coast of Europe (you’d think we got a taste for the rain last year… 🤔). After 5 months of almost being sedentary, it was high time to rediscover the thrill of adventure aboard Marvin! For these first stages, we left the snow-covered Andorran peaks (better late than never) to reach a desert, or more precisely, a semi-desert, on our way to the Atlantic…

  • Wild Wild West…

After about 5 months of being sedentary, it was high time to get back on the road (and resurrect this blog at the same time)… But what did we do during 5 months?… We weren’t really busy skiing (or maybe on grass, perhaps, since this winter will have broken records in terms of lack of…

  • Time to take stock…

It’s a bit difficult to turn the page and think about what’s next… We always tend to delve back into the memories of the last seven months, whether looking at photos, merging the GPX files of each stage to have the complete itinerary of the adventure or choosing a project to which we would allocate our carbon offset…

The adventure ends after 7 months and 19 countries visited. Back to the starting point, in Andorra, where it all began, on 13 March this year. A few small administrative details to sort out, and we will be ready for the next adventure. After this extraordinary experience, we are not going to stop there!…

  • Finish line…

Taking advantage of the brief moments without rain to take two or three photos, we crossed the Alps and are inevitably approaching the finish line. This week, we followed the diminishing reliefs of the Alps until the Rhône Delta to end the week surrounded by water and flamingos, in the Camargue National Reserve…

  • From lake to lake…

The week started at the foot of the Alpine glaciers and ended, after a tour of the Italian great lakes… in an Iveco workshop! After more than 30.000 km without complaining, Marvin had a small burnout. But nothing serious! We are back in the mountains already!…

  • Ups and downs…

The week started with an invasion of thumbtacks that drove us out of our riverbed. Luckily, the Dolomites are still as wonderful as ever and we spent two days there among spectacular mountains. Bad weather pushed us south, but to end the week on a high note, we are back above 1.700m…
